He died 18 January 1963, age 32, as the result of an auto accident at the intersection of highway 141 and county trunk A in Town of Belgium, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin. The funeral was held 22 January 1963 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic church, Port Washington, and he is buried in St. Mary's cemetery there. His death is recorded in Ozaukee County death records, v 23, no. 48.
He married Marilyn Ann Morauski 24 April 1954 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic church, Port Washington. Reverend Monsignor Peter Hildebrand presided. Witnesses were Wilfred E. Krainz and Esther F.
