DOMINIC2 KLEIN (PETER1) was born 16 April 1846 in probably, the Province of Luxembourg, Belguim, and died 25 October 1931 in age 85, of carcinoma of the bladder and prostate at 913 Wisconsin Street, Port Washington, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin. His death is recorded in Ozaukee County death records, v 9, no. 693. His funeral was held 28 October 1931 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 117 East Van Buren Street, Port Washington and he is buried in St. Mary's cemetery there. He married CATHARINA STEINBACH 29 June 1870 in Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church at Town of Belguim, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin. Reverend H. J. Muckerheide presided. Witnesses to the marriage were Adam Steinbach and Johanna Kloos. The marriage is recorded in the marriage register of the church. See also Ozaukee County marriage records, v 4, no 464. She was the daughter of NIC STEINBACH and BARBARA LONGLIN. She was born 24 February 1853 in Town of Belguim, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin. Catharina Steinbach's birth is not recorded in Ozaukee County birth records. She died 03 June 1925 in age 72, of myocarditis at 826 Wisconsin Street, Port Washington. Catharina (Steinbach) Klein's death is recorded in Ozaukee County death records, v 8, p 373. Her funeral was held 06 June 1925 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Port Washington and she is buried in St. Mary's cemetery there.
On 19 June 1895, Dominic Klein personally appeared before the clerk of the circuit court of Ozaukee County and made oath that he was born in Belgium on or about the year 1846; that he landed at the Port of New York on or about the month of June 1857 and that it is his intention to become a citizen of the United States. See Ozaukee County naturalization records, v 13, p 237A.
This is probably the same Dominic Klein, "a native of Luxemburg" who "had declared on oath before the Circuit Court for the County of Ozaukee, State of Wisconsin on the Nineteenth day of June A.D. 1895 that it was bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States" and was admitted to become a citizen of the United States on 5 September 1895. See Ozaukee County certificates of naturalization, v 4, no. 26.
The Klein family resided in the Town of Fredonia, Ozaukee County. The Kleins had at least six children and they adopted one.

Reverend Bernhard Elskamp presided. The witnesses were Nic. W. Klein, J. Federmeyer, Lizzie Klein and Magge Federmeyer. She was born at Batavia, _______ County, Wisconsin, the daughter of Hurbert and Anna (Weiland) Federmeyer. Peter Klein operated a farm in Town of Belgium.
ii. NICHOLAS KLEIN was born c. 1873.
iii. SUSANNA KLEIN was born c. 1875 at Town of Fredonia, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin. She married NICOLAUS JAQUE, spelled Nicholas Jâque [with symbol over the a], on 22 February 1894 at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church at Holy Cross, Town of Belguim, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin. Reverend P. H. Welbes presided. The witnesses were Henry Jâque, Nic Klein, Mary Jâque and Lizzie Klein. He was born Town of Fredonia, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin, the son of John and Christina (Rinnefeld) Jâque. Nicholaus Jâque was a farmer near Geneva, Fillmore County, Nebraska.
iv. ELIZABETH KLEIN was born 30 August 1876 at Town of Fredonia, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin; she died 14 February 1948, age 71, of coronary occlusion with myocardial infarction at St. Alphonsus hospital at Port Washington. She was buried 17 February 1948, at St. Nicholas cemetery at Dacada. See Ozaukee County death certificates, v 13, no. 121. Elizabeth Klein was also known as "Lizzie". She married, first, PETER POHL on 27 January 1897. He was born 14 December 1872 at _______, Wisconsin, the son of Joseph and Kate (Kaiser) Pohl. Peter Pohl died 12 November 1912, age 39 of tuberculosis at 826 Wisconsin Street, Port Washington, Ozaukee County. Peter Pohl's birth is not recorded in Ozaukee County birth records. See Ozaukee County death certificates, v 5, no. 890, which is the source of information about Peter Pohl's birth, death and parentage. His funeral was held 16 November 1912 and he was buried in St. Nicholas Catholic cemetery at Dacada, Ozaukee County. Elizabeth "Lizzie" Klein married, second, NICHOLAS THEISEN on 12 May 1930 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church at Port Washington, Ozaukee County. Reverend Peter Holfeltz presided. Witnesses were Kay Theisen and Anna Gallwitz. See also Ozaukee County marriage records, v 11, no. 564 which is the source of information about the prior marriages of both persons. He was born. 27 May 1873, St. Michaels, Town of Farmington, Washington County, Wisconsin, the son of Mathias and Catherine (Turk) or Maria (Sterrer) Theisen. Nicholas Theisen died 02 March 1944, age 70, of tuberculous peritonitis and enteritis at St. Alphonsus hospital at Port Washington. See Ozaukee County death certificates, v 11, no. 791. His funeral was held 06 March 1944 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Port Washington and he is buried in St. Mary's cemetery there. Nicholas Theisen married, first, Elizabeth Notting 26 September 1900 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic church at Port Washington. Reverend C. M. Grobschmit presided. Elizabeth Notting was born before 1879 at Port Washington, the daughter of Bernard and Veronica (Zimmer) Notting. Her birth is not recorded in Ozaukee County birth records. She married MICHAEL ROOB on 28 February 1905 at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic church at Dacada, Town of ________, Sheboygan County, Wisconsin. Reverend John E. Halbenkann presided. He died 29 May 1914 in age 77, of an enlarged prostate gland at Port Washington, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin. His funeral was held 02 June 1914 at Port Washington. His death is recorded in Ozaukee County death records, v 6, p 206. He married MARIE JOSEPHINE BIELEFELD on 11 August 1869 at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church at Port Washington, Ozaukee County.
