Robert Tagatz attended grade school and high school at Montello and graduated in 1941. He graduated from Milwaukee Engineering school in 1952. Dorothy attended St. Mary's parochial school for 10 years until 1942. She graduated from Port Washington high school in 1944, and then attended business college for one year. Robert served in World War II from 1 June 1941 until 29 September 1945. He also served in Korea during the Korean War from 12 November 1948 until 11 August 1953. Robert was a District Sales Manager of the Harnischfeger Corporation, Diesel Division from 1947 to 1964. Since 1965, Robert was a regional sales manager of the Carlisle Corporation of Ridgway, Elk County, Pennsylvania until his retirement in January 1990. The Tagatzes reside in Crystal Lake, Illinois.
