Esther attended 8 years of St Marys grade school and two years of Port Washington high school until graduation 6 June, 1946. From 1946-1947 she attended the Milwaukee Accredited School of Beauty Culture. Bill went to Holy Cross Catholic School grades 1-3. He then attended St Marys Port grades 4-8, St Marys High for two years and graduated from Port Washington high school in June 1947. Bley served in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954. He served with the 25th Signal Corp. during the Korean War for 21 months. Since March 21 1977, he has been employed by the City of Port Washington at the Filtration Plant, as No. 1 Operator. Esther retired 1 June 1990 from Tecumseh Power Products at Grafton, Ozaukee County after 18 years. The Bleys reside at Port Washington, Wisconsin. The Bleys had five children:
